Tracy Reese, a Detroit native, ventured to the East Coast to attend Parsons School of Design. After graduating she designed for several firms including Perry Ellis before she made the decision to take her passion for design and launch her own eponymous contemporary line in 1998. Tracy Reese has expanded with the addition of Plenty by Tracy Reese, the secondary sportswear line. She also branched out to shoes, handbags, home linens, and a line of hosiery with HUE. In addition to the flagship store in the Meatpacking District of Manhattan, Tracy Reese is also sold in major department stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, and Nordstrom.
