Nicole Miller has been a household name for quite some time. Miller is known for having great prom dresses and sophisticated attire for the masses. At the start in 1982, she designed mostly smock dresses. In 1986 she opened her first boutique, and in 1996 she set a new trend for runway shows by using actresses instead of models. She has been involved in many charitable events and committees including being the celebrity cabinet member of the American Red Cross. Miller has 22 boutiques across the United States featuring the Nicole Miller collection and the younger collection, millergirl. Miller plans to introduce a full line of home goods to be sold at Bed, Bath, and Beyond, turning Nicole Miller into a lifestyle brand.
