Erin Fetherston, a San Fransisco native, began her namesake line in 2004 after attending the Parsons School of Design in Paris. With the help of her Parisian mentor Ellen von Unwerth, Fetherston staged a runway show amid the couture shows in January 2005. With success garnered from her winning designs and from the support of fashionista celebrities, such as Kristen Dunst, Fetherston’s brand has done well, presenting the past three seasons at New York Fashion Week. Her frocks are just frilly, flirty, and ruffled enough for the young Hollywood set.
