She seriously studied ballet with the Royal Ballet in London, but an injury hastily ended her career as a dancer. She then decided to become a model. Kruger has starred in may French movies, and is now making in the United States appearing in films such as The Piano and Wicker Park. Kruger is dating Dawson`s Creek actor Joshua Jackson.
