I love when things turn out like they should. There were definitely many talented contestants on this season of
Nouvelle Star but two have stood out -
Tigane and
Julien.
Tigane (far left) is so easy to like. He is smooth and picks songs you can groove to. This week he sang

Hello. He is sexual and sensual and the judges love him!

Julien, on the other hand, is a weirdo in the best sense of the word. An artist like him is hard to come by. This week he sang
Soft Cells Tainted Love and
Daves Vanina and the judges felt that on that last song in particular, he failed to truly show is unique character. The fight is on and

Dave, cest Manu Katch qui a raison lorsquil dit que Julien nous a habitu mieux. On sattendait une performance vocale en voix de tte, ou bien quelque chose de tout fait diffrent, et on a eu un mlange, un entre-deux, sans got ni caractre. Bref, on est dus.
Le suspense est maintenant son comble. Qui va remporter la cinquime saison de Nouvelle Star? Julien le dcal ou Tigane le gentil? Vous le saurez mercredi prochain.

As I predicted, Gaetane, was sent home this week on Frances version of American Idol, Nouvelle Star. In fact, many viewers felt that it would come down to the two favorites, Tigane and Julien. For her final perfomances, Gaetane sang Noas I Dont Know and Shania Twains Man, I Feel Like a Woman. Unfortunately, that last song did not go very well. The judge, Marianne James, told her she appeared more like a little girl trying on her mothers shoes. Ouch!
Laffiche de la finale, on lavait devine depuis longtemps : Julien contre Tigane. Mais maintenant, cest officiel - Gatane est limine. Elle est impressionnante dassurance lorsquelle livre une interprtation trs personnelle dI Dont Know de Noa, toute en justesse et en sobrit et trs loigne de la version originale. Malheureusement, dans un tout autre style, sur Man! I Feel Like a Woman de Shania Twain, Gatane parat beaucoup moins laise. Ses gestes un peu emprunts, sa voix parfois chevrotante voquent Marianne James une petite fille qui veut mettre les chaussures de sa maman .
American Idol judge, Paula Abdul, has a lot to say lately. It seems like every day theres some new quote or interview that sheds some small light into her life. She has definitely had her share of struggles over the years, but she is trying to put a positive spin on it all.
In a recent interview with OK! Magazine, Paula had the following to say:
I was premature at birth. I weighed two pounds, three ounces. When I came home from the hospital the doctor said I was one of the bravest babies hed ever seen. Ive made a career of falling on my ass or falling on my face and getting up again.
