Graham & Brown Mode Enchant Wallpaper

I usually don't give wallpaper too much thought, but when a print as gorgeous as this one comes around, I immediately start fanatasizing about redecorating. Wallpaper certainly has enjoyed a resurgence in recent years and it most definitely has little resemblance to the prints that were on our walls growing up in the 70s (uck, metallic bronze crinkled paper in our hallway, for example). It would make a dramatic statement on any wall, and interesting for a kid's room too.

Thruppeny Bits

CLASSIC_BWR.jpg

Have you ever wished you could lug your breastfeeding pillow out and about with you? Sat awkwardly as you try to hold your baby two inches higher than your lap, on a cafe chair that just wasn't made for nursing? Here's an option you'll certainly want to look at.

The Thruppeny Bit* is basically a bag that becomes a cushion when you choose to insert its removable filling. So, you can take it anywhere with you, sling it on the pushchair or over your shoulder. It comes in a selection of really appealing fabrics to rival any top-notch brand of nappy bag.

So, bingo - an instant feeding cushion when you need it, and when you no longer do, you still have an attractive bag for the ongoing daily needs of water bottles, wipes, spare socks, what have you...

My favourite fact about these cushions, however, is the provenance of their name. If you don't know why they should be called Thruppeny Bits, click through the link above to find out. Cheeky!

The ducduc Table Highchair

The-Table-highchair-p%5B1%5D.jpg

Well, this was a kind of interesting find here. A very good looking highchair, indeed. I personally didn't spend a lot of time figuring out what kind of highchair we needed and actually wound up buying (and being very happy with) the Kuster K2 highchair on a whim. Cheap it was not. Apparently, though, highchairs can be much much more expensive - especially when you are purchasing a specific piece of furniture to mount it on. The Table Highchair ($125-$150) by ducduc is actually specifically designed to be attached to the ducduc table bench ($675-$825). For safety reasons, some websites will not even sell the highchair without the purchase of the bench - yikes! Guess you'd better be pretty sure that this is the highchair you want for all of your babies (current and future).

For what it's worth, the highchair is available and a plethora of cool fabric colors and designs.

Handy sandwich wrapper

sandwich_wrap

How much do you spend in a year on cling-film or tinfoil, I wonder? Or, indeed, how much sandwich packaging goes into landfill with your name on it? If these are the types of issue that worry you, then the simple idea behind the Re-usable Sandwich Wrap should appeal.

Wipe-clean on one side, cotton on the other, and with a Velcro closer, apparently it'll stand up to the occasional machine wash. And while the design does look susceptible to the 'I could make that at home' train of thought, I'm sure there are just as many who think, 'Just 4.50 - well, why not?'.

Shinzi Katoh Posters

God, I LOVE these posters from Shinzi Katoh. Actually, I pretty much love anything from this Japanese designer. The Forest poster is sold out right now, but the Hide & Seek poster is still available (love love this one), but only to Australian residents only at Zakkaya. Sorry, I know it's such a tease, but I could not help but post these.
