Betsey Johnson
No one embraces being a girl more than Betsey Johnson, and her spring 2007 line vividly illustrated it. Models walked through a faux French parlor door decorated with lots of draped pink satin, immediately setting the tone. Enchanting strapless dresses, feminine little cropped jackets, and flirty skirt suits were key pieces in the fun, imaginative, and sexy collection. Polka dots made an appearance, but it was the romantic ruffles that stole the show, appearing on almost every piece. And in typical Betsey fashion, the designer concluded with a signature cartwheel down the catwalk.
