(3 of 7) Be Discovered 2008 FinalistsThe wait is over! After much deliberation our VIP judges have picked a Be Discovered: Design a Dress semi-finalists: Kate Spray! This talented young designer wins a trip to New York City and apprenticeship in Adam Lippes’ studio—just the place to sharpen her design skills! Check out her winning design and the fashionable work of her fellow finalists: Janey R. While Janey R.’s halterdress may be fuss-free to wear, the construction of the sexy piece wasn’t so easy. “The crepe de chine fabric I used was so slippery! I admit I didn't really think much about this when I purchased it at C&J Textiles in New York City,” the Brooklyn resident says. “I really love the ultra-flowy feel of crepe de chine, but sewing it and especially hand-hemming it was pretty challenging! But I love a good challenge, so it was totally worth it in the end."
it does look nice but i think it would look nicer if you use shinny satin. it will look sexier if the skirt is more flattering

I truly love this dress. Love the neck tie, the lines and fit of the bodice even the color combination. It is bold and sexy. My only dissapointment is the lack of movement and flare in the skirt to continue that flattering sexy look. It's just too Aline. However I still think you are THE winner!
