Belles of the Ball: NYC's Met Gala
As star-studded as the Oscars and as stylish as Paris Fashion Week, the annual Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute ball never fails to disappoint—and this year was no exception. A-list stars, designers, models and more turned up at the Superheroes: Fiction and Fantasy gala, which was hosted by Giorgio Armani, Julia Roberts, and George Clooney as well as Vogue’s Anna Wintour. While some guests opted for bold ensembles befitting Catwoman and her powerful peers, most wisely choose elegant gowns in subdued shades—just the thing for a Manhattan spring soiree.
