Hailing from all corners of the nation—from New Hampshire to Californian—these talented design hopefuls are now hard at work, whipping up their dream dress for our judges to review. Alexzandra C. from Woodland, Calif., envisions an eco-minded frock. “In the spring people are more active, so a dress must go from day to night, from indoors to outdoors,” she says of her short warm-weather look. “My dress would be made from bamboo, which would make it easy to care for and wholly sustainable.”
