NYFW Fall 08: Calvin Klein
At first glance, the casual viewer might think Francisco Costa’s latest collection a cold one. Indeed, his knife-pleat gowns, shield-like beaded dresses, and monastic collar shifts all in dark, stormy shades would seem severe if it were not for their tailoring touches. Regardless, it’s a sure bet that many an A-lister—especially the current CK poster girl Kate Bosworth—will don Costa’s sleekly sexy clothes come fall ’08.
