When do you feel most empowered? When I see my children happy. I hope that my most successful legacy will be my kids. I hope that I’ll have raised two well-adjusted children who know that they are loved and feel that they are loved for who they are, and not for what they do.

Why are you part of The Women's Conference this year? I was very flattered to be asked to participate in such a good cause. Empowering women is what I believe in most.
With this year's conference theme "Remarkable Lives. Remarkable Legacies. What's Yours?" ... what do you hope your legacy will be? All women inspire women behind them...that is our legacy. I just hope to have empowered women.
Which woman in your life has made the biggest impression and why? My mother is unquestionably the woman who had the biggest influence on me. At age 20, she was deported to Auschwitz. She spent 14 months in concentration camps. She barely survived at the end of the war, weighing 49 pounds. She was a survivor, not a victim...she taught me fear is not an option.
