Sass & Bide Hats off to Sass and Bide! Berets and top hats ruled the runway as they unveiled the absolutely gorgeous fall 2007 line. A beautiful ode to Paris, the collection was full of sexy tops, hot dresses, and skinny pants. The clothes were black, white, and gold, most adorned with sequins and lamé.
Vera Wang Vera Wang’s fall 2007 collection was a little more somber than some of her previous lines, but the darker palette—lots of jet-black pieces with splashes of red, green, brown, and silver—only made the show more stunning. Gorgeous tops and dazzling gowns were adorned at the neckline with beautiful oversize jewels, some in the shape of a butterfly. Paired with many outfits, opera-length gloves and tall slouchy boots gave the collection the right amount of edginess.
Zac Posen Drama, drama, drama! That was the story of Zac Posen’s magnificent fall 2007 collection. Sensual, exquisite, and ultrafeminine, his vision was conveyed with a bold solid color palette. Body-skimming mermaid dresses, floor-length, full-skirted gowns, and flouncy minidresses were displayed to editors, buyers, and genuine Zac Posen fans (including Nicole Richie and Diddy), all of whom seemed pleased, considering his thundering standing ovation.
