#NYFW: Lauren Moffatt Fall 2012 Presentation

Lauren Moffatt couldn’t have picked a better location for her Fall 2012 Presentation. The Old School, a former school building of St. Patrick’s Cathedral, was the perfect vintage setting for the two presentation rooms: the classroom and the art room. Inspired by “the innocent and classically undone style of a school-girl”, the collection featured intricate buttons, tiny polka dots, and romantic silk dressess in cream. We loved the classic silhouettes, especially the high waisted charcoal wool skirts and subtle and sweet cut-outs on silk print dresses. Other favorites were a creme peter pan collar contrasted with gold sequins, and perfectly fitted peplum midi skirts. Colors to Note: Maroon, Mustard, Cream, Charcoal Pieces We Loved: Cathy Silk and Lace Cream Dress, Esther Cut-Out Silk Print Dress, Fanny Silk Pleat Skirt, Mrs. Dolloway Dotted Sweater.
